shenzhen, China, June 16, 2021 – 3c-link opto has released a 100G DWDM QSFP28 single lambda transceiver. 40 fixed DWDM wavelengths are available for the ITU-T C-band grid. The modules support standard 100GHz DWDM channel spacings with standard filter bandwidth. The transceivers supports up to 80km on amplified and dispersion compensated fiber links. Without amplification the transceiver can be used in direct links up to 2km on passive DWDM networks
For short distances, e.g. several kilometers, no EDFA and dispersion compensation modules (DCM) are required. But for relative longer distances, EDFA and DCM are required to compensate the fiber link loss and fiber dispersion. This module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal DWDM wavelength from 1528.77nm to 1565.50nm as specified by the ITU-T. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the OIF CEI-28G- VSR and compliant with QSFP28 MSA. It is designed to deploy in the DWDM networking equipment in metropolitan access and core networks.
