
CCWDM Module
OBPA is an optical line protection service board that provides a low-cost redundant solution for broadband transmission networks. The main feature of this card is it is easy to install and backup solutions. It helps operators build resiliency into their networks to avoid downtime and quickly recover from any outages that occur due to a fault in the transmission line. Features of transparent and independent transmission signals, high safety and reliability as well as fast fault recovery, which can help users to build a non-blocking, flexible and reliable, as well as an anti-disaster optical communication network. It is designed with separate switch control and management control. It gives priority to ensuring the link switching, and the switching latency is less than 15ms. It provides AC/DC dual power supply and adopts an industrial-grade design, which ensures stable operation under harsh environments. It is designed with a powerful graphical network management system, which supports three management modes–local Console, EMS, and button set. Moreover, remote upgrades of services can be realized, which is easy for future unified management and maintenance.
Optical Bypass Protection Switching System (OBP) is deployed in each note to protect a cascaded or layered fiber optical network in which one equipment failure will disrupt the network integrity
* Applicable to all kinds of gateway equipment, such as DPI equipment, firewall, IPS, UTM, IDP, spam gateway, anti-virus gateway, special DDos equipment, special logic isolation equipment in all fields, etc.
* Support power-off and power-on retention function: Bypass equipment's power-off or power-on, does not affect the switching status of work routing to ensure the normal operation and has hot-swapped function.
Unique power storage function to ensure that no wrong switch occurs even when the bypass equipment itself is power off.
* Automatic instantaneous switch to fault nodes without human intervention, switching time < 20ms.
* OBP cards and network management cards are independent of each other and have no influence on each other.
* Support multi-kinds of graphical interface network management, such as SNMP, Web.
* Support AC power 220V, DC power -48V, and 1+1 power input protection.
* The card can plug into 3C-OTNS8600I / 3C-OTN8600II/ 3C-OTN8600V become standalone device
