Wide Public Service Applications
Industrial-grade Ethernet Switches can offer redundant mechanisms for critical applications that need always-on connections. It can also operate either at standard operating temperature range -40 to 75°C. Housed in rugged DIN rail or wall mountable IP40 enclosures, these switches are perfect choices for harsh environments, such as industrial networking, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and are also suitable for many military and utility market applications where environmental conditions exceed commercial product specifications.
Redundant Ring, Fast Recovery for Surveillance System
Supports redundant ring technology and features strong, rapid self-recovery capability to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power input system into customer’s industrial automation network to enhance system reliability and uptime in harsh factory environments. There is no theoretical limit on the number of rings that can be added to a network. So as long as you have sufficient bandwidth, you can keep adding nodes.
User-Friendly Management Software
For efficient management, the Managed Industrial Switches is equipped with console, Web and SNMP management interfaces.
- With the built-in Web-based management interface, GUI, easy-to-use, platform-independent management and configuration facility.
- For text-based management, it can be accessed via Telnet and the console port.
- For standard-based monitor and management software, it offers SNMPv3 connection for secure remote management.
Robust Layer 2 Features
The managed Ethernet functions include STP/RSTP/MSTP/ITU-T G.8032 ERPS and multiple μ-Ring for redundant cabling, layer 2 Ethernet IGMP, VLAN, QoS, ACL, Security, IPv6, bandwidth control, port mirroring, cable diagnostic and Green Ethernet.
Advanced PoE management functions optional, such as weekly PoE power scheduling as well as device auto-checking and auto-reset. The built-in “PoE schedule” for energy saving, enable or disable PoE power feeding for each PoE port during specified time intervals and it is a powerful function to help SMBs or enterprises save power and money.
Flexibility and Extension Solution
Support dual speed, 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber-optic modules, meaning the administrator now can flexibly choose the suitable SFP transceiver according to not only the transmission distance but also the transmission speed required. The distance can be extended from 550 meters to 2 kilometers (multi-mode fiber) and up to above 10/20/40/60/80/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM fiber). They are well suited for applications within the enterprise data centers and distributions.
Support SFP-DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitor) function that greatly helps network administrator to easily monitor real-time parameters of the SFP, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage.
Environmentally Hardened Design
With IP40 Aluminum case for better heat dissipation and industrial grade temperature -40°~75°, dust proof and DIN Rail mountable on plant floors or in curb side traffic control cabinets. It also possesses an integrated power supply source with wide range of voltages (9 to 56V DC, or 48 to 56V DC for PoE) for worldwide high availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs.
High Heat Dissipation Structure, thermally conductive pad connected to PoE and main chipset, and the both side chipset is closely fit to the aluminum case, and the casing is striping style to get the most dissipation performance, so the whole design is very precise and delicate.
